If you have a sufficient amount of recyclable and compactable materials that you can separate from your main waste stream (usually cardboard, paper and polythene films) then we can source the most efficient and effective state of the art machines to bale such materials. By presenting such materials in a baled format ready for bulk collection and recycling, you will ensure that you can maximise the amount of revenue that Recycling in Action can pay for your materials.

Normally we would suggest a total amount of approximately 100 tonnes of any single material per single site per year. The size and type of baler that we would recommend would depend upon your materials and your tonnages and again please contact our team for more details.
The two main types of baling equipment are either Vertical or Horizontal balers.
The financing of baling equipment is flexible and can be done though either an outright purchase, through a lease arrangement or through a contract with Recycling in Action that would incorporate the cost of the baler in the price we pay for your materials. See Baler Financing section.
The main benefits of baling waste recyclable materials are cost savings (landfill costs scheduled to be > £100/T by 2012), revenue generation, space savings, time savings and of course the environmental benefits of diverting waste from landfill.
