Are you a voluntary sector group?
The WEEE Regulations seek to encourage the re-use of whole appliances when these are discarded and where this is appropriate. Such re-use should be seen as a priority for producer compliance schemes.
At Comply Direct, we recognise that re-use and refurbishment organisations from the charitable and voluntary sector are already actively involved with WEEE in the UK and we are keen to see this involvement maintained.
We are keen to make new relationships with such re-use groups and would welcome being contacted to discuss this further.
