WEEE timetable
The WEEE Regulations place obligations in relation to WEEE on the producers of EEE from 1 July 2007 and in relation to EEE, such as product marking and provision of treatment information from 1 April 2007.
Distributor (retailer) obligations commence 1 July 2007.
The first WEEE compliance period runs from 1 July 2007 to 31 December 2007 with each subsequent compliance period running from 1 January to 31 December each year.
Before the commencement of the first compliance period on 1 July 2007 obligated producers need to register with a producer compliance scheme (PCS) such as Comply Direct Ltd by 15th March 2007.
