Logistics and collection
We have a nationwide logistics network in place to facilitate the collection of electrical and electronic products from our customers.
Our collection service is a key part of our total WEEE solution. For example, Evans Logistics currently have contracts in place with local authorities to provide a collection service from household waste sites, where fridges and freezers are dropped off by the public or council contractors and have a large fleet of 7.5 tonne trucks or articulated lorries.
The type of lorry will depend on the number of units to be collected and the access to the collection point. All vehicles are fully licensed to carry waste material and items of hazardous waste. For smaller quantities of WEEE, we have a range of storage containers for use prior to collection or we can provide a parcel postal service.
Under the hazardous waste regulations, you may already have the task of disposing of electrical and electronic equipment such as TVs and monitors containing CRTs, fluorescent lighting, and fridges/freezers. We can meet such disposal requirements for any EEE classified as being hazardous and potentially save you money when compared to your existing disposal routes.
