WEEE B2C producer compliance
The UK WEEE Regulations place a responsibility on producers to pay the costs of collection, treatment, recycling and recovery of WEEE in the UK from implementation day. Obligated Producers must meet the requirements of the regulations, regardless of size or market share.
Producers are potentially obligated if they manufacture, import or sell under their own label electrical and electronic equipment. B2C (household) obligated producers supply EEE that ultimately ends up in a household (consumer) end-user environment.
